About

Vision

We envision a world where peace, love, happiness and health reign supreme for all beings within the circle of life on Earth.  While some pain may come across our paths, we know that collectively through people power and soul force, we can largely eliminate unnecessary suffering through will, wisdom, and action.

Mission

Our mission is to unite local communities and global society for creating effective and peaceful systems for expanding physical, spiritual, mental, financial, and environmental well-being to create a new era on Earth. As one human family, on one home planet, we honor the diversity of expressions of this mission, and the myriad and mysterious ways that it can reach fulfillment.

As humans we have long faced intense barriers to peace such as language, geographic, financial, cultural, religious, educational, and otherwise. In this day and age, we believe that most of the barriers to peace individually and collectively, can greatly be resolved through communicating knowledge around well-being and acting towards sustainable well-being from a holistic perspective.

We are dedicated to ending unnecessary suffering caused by violence, disease, environmental degradation, poverty, greed, and ignorance.

Method

Our method is to empower people through self-understanding and realization of our shared essence; spirit.

While the original essence is known by meany names in many different cultures, the way of knowing this essence is through experiencing it.

We share, guide and regularly practice Contemplative, Meditative, Movement, & Energy Arts for individual and collective deep experiences of spirit.

To regularly and deeply experience spirit is to regularly and deeply experience peace. Peace is not a static, sterile experience; it is the immersion in the great river of life beyond suffering, it is great aliveness, connection, and invigoration. â€‹â€‹

Micro = Macro in the Fractal Universe

From this internal experience of peace, wherever we go we subtly influence peace in the world and beings around us. From our inner peace we are empowered to outwardly create peaceful, aware, and effective systems with other humans.  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Yoga is a path of self realization and liberation.

It’s a science where you conduct the research on your mind-body and life-force. It’s not so much about “trusting the experts” or needing to have certain religious or secular beliefs (though a bit of guidance sure can be helpful). It’s about you becoming the expert of your self. The word yoga in its simple elegance means to unite. It is the realization of one’s individual nature deeply united to all of nature.

Over the last eight years I have applied my personal yogic and nature immersion practices in service and offering to others. More recently, I’ve been working as a therapeutic yoga practitioner within a holistic mental health center, working with children and adults across the ability, wellness, and neuro-diversity spectrum.

In addition to more traditional yogic offerings, I draw from the wisdom cache of somatics, ecotherapeutics, nervous system regulation, journaling, art therapy, sound therapy, aromatherapy, tapping, and applied energetic work. Far from this being niche woo-woo, there is mounting evidence backing these embodiment and contemplative practices for dealing with a wide range of issues.

All of this is in an effort to realize and sustain…Health, happiness, and peace for people and planet.

For many moons I have been cultivating mind-body-spirit-community practices that have in turn cultivated me. I draw from nearly 16 years of yogic practice, formal education and professional experience in three quite different disciplines- environmental conservation, journalism, and healthcare- as well as professional and personal experience in community organizing, local food systems, nature immersion, and travel.

I have very much followed my passions, curiosities and principles in life, and that has all played into my evolution as a human being and what I have to offer now. Far from a straight path, I draw from the whole and back to the center.

May we create the world we wish to live in.
